Dr. Chris L. Owens Dr. Chris L. Owens is a 1988 Graduate of LSU Dental School in New Orleans, Louisiana and is the founder and owner of Advanced Laser Training, Inc. Dr. Owens has lectured all over the World on subjects ranging from Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry to High Tech Laser Dentistry. He is a founding member of the WCLI (World Clinical Laser Institute) where he has received his Mastership Status as a certified laser educator. Dr. Owens is a past board member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry where he served on numerous committees and is in a unique position to advise students as they enter the World of Organized Laser Dentistry. Dr. Owens passion is teaching new and existing laser users the clinical and business side of laser dentistry. As a doctor who has worked with almost all types of lasers he is well suited to guide new users in whatever unit they have purchased or are thinking about purchasing. Dr. Owens accomplishments include writing multiple articles for publication on laser and implant dentistry as well as presenting hundreds of lectures on high tech dentistry and lasers. Dr. Owens has developed educational programs and tools for doctors and patients to better understand lasers. 	Dr. Philip M. Hudson Dr. Philip M. Hudson is a 1972 graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, and maintains a full time family practice in Spokane, Washington. He incorporated lasers into his practice in 1990 and in the last 19 years has used Nd:YAG, Argon, Carbon Dioxide, Diode, and Er:YAG wavelengths. He currently holds Academy of Laser Dentistry Advanced Proficiency Certification in three laser wavelengths, has served in numerous capacities within the Academy, and is a Dental Laser Educator and a Standard Proficiency Dental Laser Course Provider. A Founding Member, Life Member, Fellow and Diplomate of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry, he has received its Leadership Award, and has lectured nationally and internationally at hundreds of conferences on a variety of conservative-care related subjects. 	Jessica Blayden, RDH Jessica Blayden graduated from Weber State University with honors in Dental Hygiene. She has been a hygienist for 8 years practicing in San Diego CA. She has been using the laser in her daily hygiene regimen for the past 6 years. She has completed Mastership status in the World Clinical Laser Institute in the area of diode lasers. She also has her Standard Proficiency and is working on the third part of the Advanced Proficiency with the Academy of Laser Dentistry. Jessica speaks and conducts the Advanced Hygiene Soft Tissue Diode Course for Advanced Laser Training all throughout the country every month. She also speaks for a variety of other laser manufacturers, hygiene companies and conducts in-office training for private dental practices. This last year she helped launch and patent a product through Orascoptic called Laser Loupes. Jessica currently conducts a Laser Study Group every month called the East County Laser Study Club. Jessica Blayden loves the LASER! One of her favorite things about the laser is doing presentations to inform and excite other hygienists about this new concept in the hygiene world. She says “it brings hygienists to a fresh level and an enhanced standard of care for their patients”. Her hobbies include snow skiing, camping, boating and now she is learning to surf! 	Janet Press, RDH Janet Press RDH, Fellow of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, is a Dental Hygienist in general and specialty practice for 33 years, with 13 years clinical experience in soft tissue lasers. Ms. Press holds the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) Fellowship, Standard Proficiency in both Diode and Nd:Yag lasers and has been a member of the ALD Regulatory Affairs, Scientific Sessions, and Auxiliary Committees. Previously a featured speaker and clinical instructor in the Dynamic Team and Laser Certification Programs at Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), Ms. Press conducts international workshops and private dental office training programs with emphasis on soft tissue lasers in dentistry, hygiene practice refinement, advanced ultrasonic instrumentation and team communication. Janet frequently speaks at ALD annual meetings, for study clubs, international organizations, and dental manufacturers.
