The Advanced Diode Surgical Course familiarizes participants with the full range of the clinical applications of the diode laser. Its emphasis is to help clinicians harmonize their expectations with the knowledge they are receiving. This exposure will open their minds to the powerful capabilities of the laser.

Part of the curriculum will be an overview of surgical techniques with the diode laser. Course participants will be motivated to move out of their comfort zones to higher plateaus in dentistry where, from their new perspective, they can see more clearly just what the laser can do to transform their practices. Dr. Hudson will eliminate the fear-factor that new users and even experienced users sometimes associate with their instrument.

Each participant will be given a worksheet that includes anticipated questions and answers, with plenty of space for notes, and for additional questions that may come to the minds of the participants during the presentation. Included in the course syllabus will be clinical descriptions of each procedure, diagnostic rationale, standard operating protocols, and anticipated treatment outcomes.

Cases will not necessarily be presented in an increasing order of difficulty, although emphasis will be on a learning curve that allows course participants to build confidence in their ability to routinely perform an increasingly broad range of procedures.

A selection from the clinical surgical applications of the diode laser will be presented during this module, to allow plenty of time for Dr. Hudson to explain each procedure in detail, and participant interaction.

Suggested Pre Requisite Course to be Basic Diode Certification Course by Chris Owens, DDS at $695 per participant designed for DDS's and RDH's as well as staff who can attend at a reduced fee of $395.

Upon successful completion of course, 8 CE Credits and Certification will be awarded.
